The beef is dead. The hatchet is buried. Boston’s Big Three have reunited.

After a soft reunion at last month’s NBA All-Star Game ceremony where all three were honored as members of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen were all in the same building again on Sunday.

But this time that building was TD Garden, the occasion the retirement of Garnett’s Celtics No. 5, and when KG spoke there was no denying that the trio had put the past behind them.

“It’s good to see Ray Allen here,” Garnett said. “It’s good to see you, man. You next, dog.”

Allen then went to center court and embraced Garnett, and The Truth followed, making it a group hug more than a decade in the making, much to the delight of the Garden faithful.

And once again everything is as it should be.
