The upcoming release of the ESPN Documentary “The Last Stand” on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls has all of us reminiscing about 90s Basketball and what made the game different back then.

So, naturally, the NBA Countdown crew had to hop in the time machine and re-live some of the moments of the 90s in the NBA. From the Bad Boys of Detroit and the Jordan Rules, the fearsome dunking of Shawn Kemp and J.R. Rider, Scottie Pippen’s time in the spotlight and Denver’s shocking upset of the Supersonics in the 1994 playoffs, some of the best memories of 90s hoops are the ones we’ve forgotten. But the highlight might be the 1996 NBA Draft which gave us Kobe Bryant and his trade from Charlotte to LA, the birth of The Answer Allen Iverson in Philly, Ray Allen and Steve Nash

“This is the best draft class ever,” Paul said. “My class ain’t got nothing on that class. Our top three between Dirk, Vince and me, is pretty good. But we don’t go as deep as that class.”

Watch Truth, Maria Taylor, Jay Williams, Jalen Rose, Richard Jefferson and Mike Wilbon explain why they love the 90s below.
