The Milwaukee Bucks have had a stellar regular season, and as the season comes to a close, they may be chasing a rare 70-win regular season record. While that is an impressive feat, the NBA Countdown crew debated whether winning 70 games is important for an NBA team.

Paul Pierce doesn’t think 70 wins is that significant, citing the Golden State Warriors’ failure to win a title after winning 73 games.

“We saw Golden State win 73 games and lose in the Finals,” Pierce said. “And now do we ever talk about this team ever. So for (Milwaukee) to win 70 games, I don’t think it has a great meaning to them. Their ultimate goal is a championship.”
