The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t make any splashy moves at the trade deadline, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they won’t upgrade their roster before the postseason. One name for Lakers’ fans to keep an eye on is Darren Collison, who will decide soon whether or not he will return to the NBA this season.

If that is the case, Adrian Wojnarowski believes the Lakers are among the front runners to acquire the veteran guard. While some people may believe Collison will help address some of the Lakers’ point guard issues, Paul Pierce questions if this move would help at all, considering the fact that Collison didn’t have a desire to play at the beginning of the season.

“It’s like that guy at the park, ‘I don’t feel like playing.’ We need an extra guy,” Pierce said. “How much can he really help?”
