Michael Porter Jr. has been a welcome addition into the Denver Nuggets lineup, and the youngster has been on a tear recently, scoring 25 points against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. Over his last four games, Porter Jr. is averaging 15.5 points per game on a highly efficient 74 percent shooting.

Porter’s NBA career has started slow due to injuries, but now the former highly touted prospect is getting the chance to show the world what his potential could be.

“He was the best high school player I’ve seen since LeBron, and he is a transcendent superstar when he is healthy. He plays like Kevin Durant,” Pierce said. “He’s like a cross between Kevin Durant and Tracy McGrady…If he can fulfill his potential, they have the next superstar on their hands.”
