Should GSW Be Worried About Steph?

Stephen Curry struggled mightily in Golden State’s Game 3 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets, scoring just 17 points on 7-23 shooting, including missing all six of his shots in the fourth quarter and overtime. After the first two games of the series, the Warriors didn’t have much to be concerned about, but heading into Game 4, the Rockets will have the chance to even the series, making it crucial for Steph to find his rhythm again for Golden State.

Paul Pierce joined The Jump to chime in, and he is very concerned about Steph Curry’s performance in Game 3, and he can’t fathom how such an underwhelming outing occurred for one of the league’s best players.

“I’m very worried about Steph Curry because a player of his caliber – a two-time MVP, three-time champion, top-five player in the game – he can’t play as bad as he did (in Game 3),” Pierce said. “So it makes me think, is he injured? Is it something he’s dealing with physically? Mentally? I don’t know.”
