The 2019 NBA Playoffs have been filled with incredible performances night-in and night-out from some of the game’s greatest talents. Kawhi Leonard has been a menace on both ends of the floor. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been nearly impossible to keep from attacking the rim. Damian Lillard has come through in the clutch for Portland when they’ve needed him this postseason. And Kevin Durant has been a lethal shot-maker on a team full of them in Golden State.

But if Paul Pierce could only pick one player from these playoffs to have the last shot with the game on the line, he would go with Durant, who’s combination of length and shooting ability has made him such a tough cover for years in the NBA.

“For me it’s Kevin Durant because he’s done it in big moments,” Pierce said. “Kevin Durant showed how clutch he was in the last two Finals. He can get any shot he wants at any given time.”
