Harden’s 30-Point Streak Finally Ends

James Harden’s streak of consecutive 30-points games finally came to an end against the Atlanta Hawks, ending at 32 straight games. It’s worth noting Harden still tallied 28 points against the Hawks. With other teammates sidelined due to injury, Harden impressively stepped up and carried his team through the middle of the season to keep them in the playoff picture.

Harden’s 32-game stretch has only been outdone by one man, Wilt Chamberlain, who compiled 65 such games in a row. When asked what Pierce will remember most about this unbelievable stretch, The Truth said he was astonished by how many of the points came without assists, meaning that Harden did so much of his damage by creating for himself.

“I’m going to remember how many of those buckets he got unassisted,” Pierce said. “That was pretty amazing. That’s like a one-man wrecking ball.”
