The Boston Celtics struggled early in the season to find their rhythm, but a recent team meeting seems to have cleared the air and allowed the team to move in the direction that they want to go. The Celtics have risen up the Eastern Conference standings since the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks that prompted the team meeting.

Paul Pierce knows from experience how these kinds of meeting can impact a team, and communication is key for a team trying to constantly improve a reach their lofty goals.

“Meetings like this, I think, are overrated sometimes,” Pierce said. “But, they can go one of two ways. You can clear [the problem] and move on and play better, or it can turn into a total disaster. But, I’m glad things cleared up and they’re back playing the way we know that they can play.”
