The Warriors are undoubtedly the most talented team in the NBA when healthy, but for the moment, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins are all sidelined as they recover from injuries, which places an extra burden on Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson on a nightly basis.

If the Warriors lack one thing, it is depth on their star-studded roster, and it has shown with Curry and Green on the bench over the last several games. Paul Pierce thinks that although the team can win with any combination on the court, the Warriors’ level of play will dramatically improve when Curry comes back.

“Right now, Steph is the MVP,” Pierce said. “They’ve struggled without Steph and when he comes back, you’re going to watch the offensive numbers surge. He’s going to be playing at a high level, and they’re going to get right back on track.”
