After a night filled with high-flying slam dunks, Rachel Nichols, Paul Pierce and Tracy McGrady decided to have a little fun on The Jump, scoring several dunks as if it were the NBA Dunk Contest.

First, Indiana Pacers’ Domantas Sabonis threw it down hard on one of the NBA’s biggest personalities, Joel Embiid. The dunk was special, but Paul would’ve like to have seen an Embiid-like stare-down from Sabonis to cap it off.

“You gotta give me the yell and the stare down, that’s the only thing I take away from it,” Pierce said. “Other than that, it’s a 9.”

Next up is Aaron Gordon, who struck the Mailman pose while soaring through the air and slamming home an alley-oop with one hand. Gordon, a former dunk contest participant, showed off his leaping ability and creativity, which left Paul and Tracy in awe. Then,Donovan Mitchell had his turn in the spotlight, elevating over the 6-foot-11-inch Maxi Kleber for the emphatic finish.

And of course, they finished the segment with a tribute to Paul, who occasionally threw it down back in his days with the Celtics.
