Tom Thibodeau has added four of his former Chicago Bulls players to the Minnesota Timberwolves’ roster over the course of the last two seasons. His most recent move, acquiring Luol Deng, sparked a debate on The Jump about what all this means for the Wolves.

Paul believes the reasoning is to strengthen the culture of the locker room, and these are veteran additions that Thibodeau seems to believe can make a difference for a team that has plenty of young talent that is trying to find a way to win in the NBA.

“The players create the culture,” Pierce said. “And when you bring in those players who have strong presence in the locker room that people respect and listen to, then they buy into what the coach is telling them.”
