The Utah Jazz upstaged the Rockets and beat them by eight in Game Two in the Western Conference Semifinals. It has been a grueling season and the Rockets staff believe they were lulled to sleep and it just was a testament to a long year.

Paul Pierce is not buying it:

“I don’t think they got lulled to sleep, you don’t make it to the second round, you’re a quality basketball team.”

“Rockets can’t defend the Jazz for anything right now. This is not the defensive team we’ve seen all along.”

Pierce sees the Utah Jazz as a hungry, gritty, team that can take the Rockets to seven games. It’s not a prediction, but Pierce wouldn’t be surprised.
