Paul Pierce admitted on NBA countdown that he is “a little concerned” about the Boston Celtics at the moment.

“I just think offensively they’ve struggled. I know a number of guys have struggled, haven’t been hitting their shots. That the one big knock on Boston. Can they get better offensively?”

Pierce believes that they have a championship-caliber defense and that Kyrie Irving needs to begin trusting his teammates more to create better offensive production.

While on the subject about Boston making any moves by trading players, he believes they should avoid that.

“I would just continue developing young guys… Tatum is just a rookie, we watch him play and don’t think this guy is just a rookie.”
