The Blazers-Thunder series is expected to be one of the most entertaining and competitive series of the first round this year. Many people think that Oklahoma City has a good chance to pull the upset as a No. 6 seed because of Portland’s past playoff disappointments.

However, a shoulder injury that Paul George has been dealing with may affect OKC’s chances of advancing. After a 4-15 three-point shooting night in Game 1, some are questioning how much of a chance the Thunder have against Portland, but Paul Pierce thinks that there are some things George can fix despite his injury.

“Even with the shoulder injury, there’s some things in Paul George’s game he can fix. For one, if the shoulder is really a detriment, he took 15 threes out of 26 shots, so I think he can get higher percentage shots. He great at attacking the basket,” Pierce said. “He can get easier opportunities.”
