Truth Schools Baby Bulls

On Friday night, Paul and his teammates gave the Chicago Bulls a first-hand lesson in what it takes to become champions.
The game proved to be a testament to the teamwork and sacrifice that fueled Pierce and his teammates’ run to the NBA title a season ago. No player scored more than 18 points, but four players scored in double-figures. The victory also showed how far the Truth has come on the defensive end of the floor, as all nine of his rebounds came on the defensive glass.
"We wanted to go out and establish ourselves defensively,'' Pierce told the Associated Press. "We felt like in Game 1 we didn't do that'' (against the Cleveland Cavaliers).
Pierce and his teammates’ defensive performance drew high praise from Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro:
"They competed every possession and they have a swagger about them. We never developed any type of flow offensively,” he told the Associated Press.
