Steering the Ship to a W
by Shawanda Walker

The Big Three are back, and for the first time in a long while, the Truth got to take a night off from the scoring column.

Paul only needed to play 31 minutes in the Cs' 90-77 win over the Clippers on Tuesday night, collecting nine points, four rebounds and three assists as Boston won its fourth game in a row. KG chipped in with 12 points and Ray Allen put up 20.

The Truth is happy to have everyone back on the court.

"We have such a great chemistry when our starting five is out there," Pierce said to the Boston Globe. "We don't like him on the bench. We like him on the floor."

THIRD QUARTER RUN
No. 34 and the Cs went into halftime with only a 42-40 lead. Down 55-52 midway through the third quarter, the Truth and the Cs used a 14-0 run to regain control of the game.

The Celtics took the lead for good at 56-55 on KG’s short jumper in the lane followed by an alley-oop that got the crowd on its feet.

"I'm trying to give Paul (Pierce) and Ray all I have so far until I get back," Garnett said to the Boston Globe.

A three-pointer from the Truth closed the run.

With a four-game winning streak, the Captain and Co. have a one-game lead over the Magic in the Eastern Conference.

NEXT UP
No. 34 and Co. head to Orlando to take on Dwight Howard and the Magic. Tip off is scheduled for 8:00 PM Eastern Time. It can be seen on ESPN.
