Jackson is just one-year-old and has already had to fight for his life.

The little boy has a fatal rare disease and needs a bone marrow transplant from a stranger to survive.

Students at the University of Kansas are organizing a lifesaving initiative in order to help Jackson and others, and they are receiving support from a very special KU alumnus: Paul Pierce.
