by Andrew Mees

Named to the All-Star team for the seventh time in his career, Paul spoke proudly of his accomplishment to the media on Friday.

"The best part of All-Star Weekend for me is just enjoying the time off and enjoying the festivities and being around the players and making the team," Pierce said. "I've never attended All-Star unless I made it, so it's a good time I made the team and get to be a part of the festivities off the court with the Jam Session, with the kids and be amongst my peers and be recognized as one of the better players in the NBA."
