The 2020-21 NBA season is about to hit the homestretch, with several teams still in contention for the top seeds and play-in spots.

Due to the existence of the play-in tournament for the second year-in-a-row, all but maybe three teams can say that they’re still in it here in mid-March with two months still remaining in the season.

In the interest of the upcoming NCAA National Tournament, the crew at the Jump decided to seed the NBA playoffs tournament style.

The Truth’s ranks were as follows.

East 1-6:
1. Brooklyn Nets
2. Philadelphia 76ers
3. Miami Heat
4. Milwaukee Bucks
5. Boston Celtics
6. New York Knicks

“[A few weeks ago] I said the Miami Heat, I don’t think they’re going to make the playoffs, unless Jimmy Butler comes back doing Jimmy Butler things, and what have we been seeing. Jimmy Butler doing Jimmy Butler things.”

East Play-in Four:
7. Charlotte Hornets
8. Indiana Pacers
9. Chicago Bulls
10. Atlanta Hawks

“For some reason, the coaching change seems to have them re-energized,” The Truth said of Atlanta. “I really like that young squad. Going into the season I thought they would make the playoffs. So it’s good to see them get back in the playoff race.”

West 1-6:
1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Los Angeles Clippers
3. Portland Trail Blazers
4. Denver Nuggets
5. Utah Jazz
6. Phoenix Suns

“The reason for that is these are the teams I trust, ahead of these other teams, in the playoffs,” Paul said. “The Jazz and Suns have better records, but I trust these teams more come playoff time.”

West Play-in Four:
7. Dallas Mavericks
8. Golden State Warriors
9. San Antonio Spurs
10. New Orleans Pelicans

“I’m never going to doubt a coach Popovich team,” Paul said. “People continue to disrespect Popovich in his post Duncan, Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard earn and he continues to thrive.”
