This week’s episode of NBA Countdown: Stay Home has it all.

Paul Pierce, Maria Taylor, Jalen Rose and Jay Williams discussed all the latest topics revolving around basketball. Of course, there was plenty of talk about ESPN’s doc The Last Dance, and Taylor posed an interesting question to the group: Which Three-Peat Bulls team was the better squad, the 91-93 champs or the 96-98 champs?

“It’s got to be the teams between 96 and 98 because you added another Hall of Famer in Rodman, you added Ron Harper, you added Toni Kukoc. That was overkill when they got all those pieces. That team was dominant,” Paul said. “One of the greatest teams in NBA history, that team between 96 and 98 hands down.”

In current events, the Countdown crew discussed the thought that some teams will be opening practice facilities for workouts in the near future, depending on when the states they play in re-open. Taylor asked the guys how they would feel about going to workout at the team facility in the middle of a pandemic if they were currently playing. Paul admitted he’s not really sure how he would handle it if put into that situation.

“Touchy subject right now…we can talk about it, but until I see it, I don’t know. I’m so shaken by just being around people out in public [right now],” he said. “Even though there is a small percentage [of people who have it], you don’t want to be a part of that percentage. I’m really clueless about [how it all would work] but if you could keep the numbers down, I think you should start working your way back into guys going there with like 2 or 3 guys in the gym.”
