The highly anticipated documentary “The Last Dance” premieres this Sunday and The Truth can hardly wait.

ESPN released the first few minutes of the doc, which chronicles the 1997-98 season of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, a few days early to whet the appetite of fans, and on Wednesday’s episode of The Jump, Paul Pierce admitted that intro alone gave him chills. It’s all taking him back to his teenage years in Los Angeles when the end of the Lakers dynasty steered him right into wanting to Be Like Mike.

“How could you not cheer for the Chicago Bulls? I had three Michael Jordan posters in my room. I had a pair of Jordans. I wore the wristbands, chewed the gum. I mean, I emulated everything Mike did. I couldn’t wait for him to come on, on Sunday afternoons. It was truly special.”
