Shareef O’Neal, Shaq’s son, recently tattooed Shaquille’s famous Lakers 2000 Western Conference final alley-oop celebration on his leg.

Shaq caught the lob from Kobe Bryant, and after the Big Diesel threw it down, he pointed up into the stands. Paul Pierce says he was pointing at Shareef, and that explains why that moment means a lot to Shareef.

“They said he was pointing at him when he was a kid when he dunked that shot. That’s the reason I think he got the tattoo,” Pierce said. “He pointed to him in the stands when he did that.”
