After the Philadelphia 76ers finally had a breakout season a year ago, expectations for the 2018-19 season were through the roof. So far this season, winning hasn’t come as easy as many expected, especially on the road.

However, the Sixers finally picked up their first road victory of the season, a signature win over a tough Indiana Pacers’ squad at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. While this team still has its issues to fix, Paul believes Wednesday’s impressive 100-94 win is a step in the right direction for a talented team that is still learning how to win in the NBA.

“You get signature wins throughout the season that can boost your confidence, and this was a signature win for them (against Indiana),” Pierce said. “You get that one win in a difficult place to play, and a place you haven’t won, and then suddenly, it starts a winning streak.”
