Tobias Harris joined The Jump to discuss the Clippers’ upcoming season and his expectations for the team, and he believes that a lot of people are overlooking them after trading away Blake Griffin last season and losing DeAndre Jordan in free agency.

Paul Pierce is curious to see this new-look Clippers team in action because it is the start of a new era for the Clippers. This is a young team that was much more competitive than expected after dealing Griffin last season, and Harris believes they can keep proving doubters wrong entering the new season.

“Nobody thought you guys were going to be in playoff contention (last season). You guys could have made the playoffs,” Pierce said. “It will be interesting to see with Blake (Griffin) gone, and with Chris (Paul) gone, this is a whole new era for Clipper basketball. How does it move into the next era?”
