Paul Pierce weighed in on Houston Rockets’ guard James Harden and his recent 60-point, triple-double.

Among the all-time greatest regular season single-game performances, Pierce believes that Harden’s comes close to Kobe Bryant’s performance in the last game of his career.

“This was Kobe’s last game.” Pierce said that it will hard to ever achieve the kind of game that Kobe had in his last ever. Even though Kobe attempted so many shots that game Pierce said, “It doesn’t matter.”

“You’re going to remember that [Kobe’s last game]. James Harden, this game was a great game but you might forget about it in a few years. But you’re going to be like ‘Remember Kobe’s last game?’”

Even though Harden’s monster game came against a weary Orlando Magic team, Pierce says it is still impressive because to do that as a professional is hard enough.
