Will Lonzo Ball’s terrible start to his NBA career be an indicator for the rest of his career?

Paul Pierce doesn’t think so.

When talking about the rookie’s struggles, Paul compared the start of Ball’s career to Jason Kidd’s. He made a few key points:

  • Thus far in his career, Ball has better statistics than Kidd’s rookie year.
  • While Kidd affected the game in different ways, it took him time to become a respectable shooter and really open up his game.
